    BARCAT members Maruf Khan and Robin Braverman organized the first-ever BARCAT Iftar. On August 31, about 40 people gathered at Maruf's apartment for a solemn and celebratory breaking of the Ramadan fast. The vent included prayers and discussion of the meaning and customs of Ramadan.     SAN FRANCISCO – On Friday, January 22, 2010 – the original deadline Obama set for closing Guantanamo – members of the Bay Area Religious Campaign Against Torture (BARCAT) visited Sen.
